Providenciales, Turks & Caicos, April 19th, 2021- RUBiS Turks & Caicos Limited is pleased to announce its commitment to fueling Provo Children’s Home (PCH). RUBiS has pledged to cover the fuel expenses for the Home’s two vehicles for an entire year, as it continues to support and assist those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation valued at up to $8,000 was well received by PCH as the timing aligned perfectly with the reopening of schools since the pandemic. With ten children at various schools, extracurricular activities; sports, music and homework clubs, and the need for food and household supplies, the staff at PCH does an incredible amount of driving says Tanis Wake-Forbes, Chair of Provo Children’s Home.

“We can’t thank RUBiS enough for this amazing and generous support which is greatly needed. It has been very difficult for our fundraising team at PCH through this pandemic as we depend upon donations from visitors to our shores as well as the local community. With tourism down and a strain on everyone financially, it has been quite challenging to keep revenue streams in line with expenses of the Home,” Tanis continues.

This donation forms part of the RUBiS Cares Campaign, a program through which RUBiS Turks & Caicos Limited will contribute over $33,000 throughout 2020 and 2021 to those hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic – our children, the disabled, the elderly, the unemployed, those in need – as well as our loyal customers.
