RUBiS Spreads Over $10k in Holiday Cheer Throughout the Community!

To jumpstart one of the most joyous times of the year, RUBiS doubled down to make a large impact in both Providenciales and Grand Turk. The communities were all smiles and grateful for the $10,000 commitment in free fuel, food, and giveaways from RUBiS Turks and Caicos Limited.

Earlier in 2021, RUBiS partnered with the Turks & Caicos Islands Red Cross to donate 100 masks. Later in the year, both parties identified 110 families in need. These families each received a $50 grocery voucher the first week in December to ensure food in their cupboards for the holiday season. The distribution took place at the Red Cross’ head office, downtown Providenciales and recipients expressed their gratitude to both parties.

Whilst active in Providenciales, RUBiS also could not forget Grand Turk where they operate two branded service stations. RUBiS offered $50 in free fuel to 100 unemployed persons. RUBiS Sales Executive, Zaneta Burton said “RUBiS recognized that one of the islands’ major sources of income (the cruise port) was still closed and wanted to lessen the burden for those still unemployed.”

Individuals each had an equal opportunity to apply online with proof of unemployment on RUBiS’ website to received free fuel. Senior citizens fell within this category and were grateful for the gift of fuel.

For its customers, team RUBiS turned up the holiday music and popped up at four of its nine locations to show their appreciation and to send well wishes for the holiday season. Anyone who purchased fuel had an opportunity to play to win free fuel and essential giveaways. While making rounds, RUBiS also popped into Ashley’s Learning Center to surprise the children with new headphones for their recently donated RUBiS Cares Technology Room.
